Description:
This kit is designed to count up from 0 to 9 by toggling the button. In this kit, the 4026 IC is used as a decade counter and will power the 7 segment display to display the numbers. The buttons are used to increase the counter and to reset the counter to 0. The buttons can be extended by connecting an external button via the terminal blocks. The 4026 IC is a decade counter that has an inbuilt 7 segment display driver. Thus, it is a all-in-one IC package that can power a display and count at the same time. The IC have two buttons that is used to start the counter and reset the counter. When the start button is toggled, the counter will go up by 1 and can be counted up to 9 and return back to 0. The counter will return to 0 when the reset button is pressed.
